Pre-purchase building report on a house that you are looking at buying. I look at the house without the rose tinted glasses, taking into consideration the age of the house. I do not look at a house that is 60 years old as if it is a new house.

What I look for in a house. I follow the New Zealand Standard for pre-purchase house inspections, NZS 4306:2005, this means I cover everything from the front gate, under the house to onto the roof and every in between. Basically everything that is on your property.

I complete the inspections anywhere between Tokoroa to Huntly and Te Kuiti in the south, Raglan to Te Aroha but mainly in Hamilton as more houses sell there.

I complete the inspections,  Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.
